Sophia like Shekinah before her is brave, stubborn, and often reckless. She was born to a very poor family, but upon her birth a fiery star passed through the sky for all to see. It was prophesied that Shekinah's reincarnation would appear when that fiery starred flied by. Only a year later Sophia's family were killed by Daemons, but she was saved by Hermes who put her with another family. From then on the God's have hidden her, but ever since the day of the fiery star people have been searching for the child. Royal families wish to have her in order to gain favor with or try to control the God's.

Nyx has been around since the beginning of time and has watched the rise and fall of Uranus and Cronus. She is the daughter of the most primordial being, Chaos. As such her power is so great even Zeus fears her. After the war with the Titans many of which were her family, Zeus locked them up in Tartarus to suffer forever. This is why she hates the Olympians so much, because of their crimes against her family. Still she cannot wage a war against Olympus herself even with her armies of Daemons as the combined might of Olympus and the Angels would overwhelm her.

Melinoe met Nyx in the underworld and the night goddess offered her a way out. She transformed the girl into the first and most powerful Daemon. Under her command are the rest of the daemons and she has the power to turn souls in the underworld into daemons if they agree to it.
Melinoe is cold and ruthless, in the past sixteen years she has laid waste to mortal villages looking for the Doppleganger. Her daemon armies are feared by the mortal world. She has little care for mortal life and even her lesser daemons are nothing but pawns to her.

Many mortals fear her and even Zeus bows his head as she walks by.
