HONEY I'M HOME Dionysus was excited to be traveling home for the new year to his wife. His soldiers needed the time to rest as well. After marching through much of Thrace taking whatever ground he could he felt there was no time better to return then for the new year. Lycurgus and his ilk could wait a week or two before he returned to Thrace. He just hoped nobody killed him before he could get his Thyrsus through the man's chest. He wouldn't stand for the man's constant attempts at his life. Even though Dio was a god and that would be futile it was still something that could not be ignored. None were to live long who strove with Gods. The trip home had been long and at times harsh with the blistering heat of summer. Sure he could have just poofed home with his godly powers, but he would not leave his men alone in the wilderness. Morale was high when he himself was present amongst the camp and his soldiers. The fact that they were following a God meant assured victory in their eyes. Deaths and injuries were never in vain when the son of Zeus was alongside them. They cheered as the walls of Thebes came closer, the city gates were opened for them as they were greeted with cheering crowds. His people left formation and went to their respective homes and families as Dionysus continued to the Palace. The palace walls flung open with servants rushing to grab his things. Bags of gifts for his esteemed subjects and of course his wife were taken away to be presented later when they were all together. Others came to offer him wine and grapes which he happily accepted. He made his way through the palace to the royal bedroom once belonging to his cousin Pentheus before Dionysus had removed him. He removed his armor putting on more comfortable clothing before he reclined on the couch wondering where his wife could be. libera |

NYMPHS Origins Nymphs are female nature spirits and known to be incredibly beautiful. They guard lakes, forests, and mountains among other things. They are not sweet and dainty things. They are often quite terrifying when their home is threatened.
Abilities
Shapeshifting - They can shift into any form of nature, not animals or people.
Invulnerable - Nymphs can be harmed, but they can never be truly killed. If they are struck in the head or heart they will be reborn in their home within three days.
Immortal - Nymphs are not born like us, they have existed since nature began and many are older then any god.
Ecokinesis - They have the ability the manipulate all forms of nature.
Magical Powers - Nymphs have vast magical power being able to turn mortals into animals, move objects with their mind, curse mortals, etc.
Weaknesses
Their Domain - Nymphs are bound to their domain and can never leave.

The world you're about to step into goes into the Heroic Age just after the Trojan War in which the Spartans rose victorious. The gods are not just people to be worshiped, but they are active and roam the world around you. Royal families normally deal with the God's directly and while rulers fear these powerful immortals, they do not enjoy having to bow to them. Other nations' God's do not exist here, only the greek gods are alive and well.

MAENADS Origins Wild women and men, the chosen people of Dionysus. Like the Jews are believed to be the chosen people of the christian god, Dionysus chose the Maenads. As a child they were the ones to raise and nurture him. They were the first to worship hum as a true god. Many kings who rejected Dionysus hunted them down and killed them. Those who survived were given immortality as a gift for their service. New maenads are not children of the immortal ones, they are humans who feel rejected hurt and unloved that he takes with him after leaving a place. Maenads who reject Dionysus and leave him become cursed and slowly fall into madness until they are hunted down and killed by Dio's orders.
Abilities Superhuman Strength - A maenad's strength is greater then humans. They can rip flesh and bones with amazing force.
Ecstasy - A maenad can cause someone to go into a state of pure ecstasy.
Lower Inhibition - They can lower the inhibitions of their victims making them easy to manipulate.
Creating Wine - A maenad can turn any drink into wine simply by willing it.
Immortality - Once Dio chooses a maenad they stop aging at that point.
Superhuman Speed - A maenad can move supernaturally faster then both man and animals.
Weaknesses Death Blow - A death blow to the heart or head will kill them.
Dionysus - If a maenad rebels and falls out of favor Dionysus can simply remove their immortality causing them to age until they die. Even if they were only with him a year they will die once the years catch up.
Madness - Running from Dionysus and rebelling curses them to slowly fall into madness until they must be hunted down by Dio himself as they risk exposure to the supernatural world.

AMAZONS Origins The supernatural original of Amazons is unknown, but they were known to have existed alongside mankind as far back as the golden age. They reside in Scythia under the rule of Hippolyta. The lifestyle there is backwards, women are warriors and strong while the men are considered the weaker sex. There are no true male Amazons, they mate with ordinary men in order to continue their race. The children are always women.

Human - These women are human and still experience human weaknesses.

Witches Origins Witches are humans able to practice magic, something gifted to them by the Gods. Many serve as priests or priestesses to gods and goddesses. They each draw their power either from the God's, the earth, the dead, and sometimes from even darker places such as blood sacrifice.
Abilities Witchcraft - This is done by calling upon one of the three forces to use their power. The Earth, Dead Spirits, or the ancient Gods.
Telekinesis - They can move objects with their mind. Like shattering glass or just flinging things across the room etc.
Elements - Each witch has power over one element.
Weaknesses Human - They are still human and can be killed. Over use of their powers will also cause them to be killed.

Demigods Origins Demigods are the children of gods and mortals. Many are known for their quests given to them from their parents. They are renowned as heroes and many even worship them. Any greek mythological demigod such as Hercules as allowed to be played.
Abilities Enhanced Bodies - Demigod's are physically stronger, faster, and more durable then any mortal species. They also have increased senses, stamina, and healing powers.
Other Abilities - Each Demi has unique gifts they inherit from their divine parent. I'm allowing you to come up with the abilities for your demigod, but do not go overboard and make crap up.
Weaknesses Mortality - A death blow to the head or heart will kill them indefinitely.

Daemons Origins The first daemon was the goddess Melinoe who takes wicked souls and transforms them. Daemons can be created by other daemons as well, by ruining a mortal's soul and transforming them within the underworld. The voice of Melinoe can reach all daemons and they are unable to disobey her.
Abilities Enhanced Bodies - Daemons's are physically stronger, faster, and more durable then any living species besides Gods and Angels.
Immortality - Demons do not age.
Pyrokinesis - The ability to summon and control fire.
Teleportation - They can teleport anywhere they want in the world.
Telekinesis - The ability to move objects and individuals by using your
Shadow Manipulation - The power to bend and manipulate shadows to your will.
Shapeshifting - They can shift into anything they desire.
Mind Control - The ability to control the minds of mortals.
Remnant - If a demon is inside a mortals mind controlling them and is killed before their control is gone a remnant will remain inside the mortal's mind. The remnant has no power, but is causes the victim to constantly feel the presence of the demon. At times if the remnant is strong enough it causes the victim to see hallucinations and hear the voice of the demon inside of them.
Invisibility - The ability to become unseen by the naked eye.
Healing Factor - They heal in seconds from bodily injuries and toxins.
Weaknesses Angel Swords - The swords of angels can kill Daemons.
True Form - Every Daemon has a true demonic form. It represents a malformed and hideous version of what their human form looks like. When a Daemon is weak or has been beaten to submission they will revert to this form unable to hold their human form. They must feed on the soul of a mortal in order to regain their power.
God Weapons - Weapons of the gods can kill any being.
Smiting - Angels can Smite Daemons.
Voice of Melinoe - All daemons are forced to obey Melinoe.
Demigod Weapons - A weapon wielded by a Demigod can kill a Daemon.

Angels Origins Angels are dead righteous mortals chosen by Hemera to become humanity's guides and protectors. They are fierce warriors feared by lesser daemons. Their true form can kill mortals who look upon them. The first angel was Lucifer who was created from primordial light and not a dead soul. However he became wicked wanting humanity to worship him as a god.

LESSER DEITIES Origins Many deities are transformed into such by another god. These beings live alongside the god that turned them being forever tied to the. THERE ARE NO ORIGINAL LESSER DEITIES.

Weaknesses Sensing - Demigods and other inhuman beings can feel when a god is around. Since God's radiate so much power it's hard to conceal from someone who is already sensitive to the supernatural. This doesn't mean they know this person is a god, but they will understand from what they feel that this person is of much higher status. Special humans who either have faith in the old ways or have a deep understanding of the supernatural will also be able to feel a god. The doppleganger also has this ability although she would not know this person is a god.
Magic Items - Powerful witches can create items that can have either positive or negative effects on a God.
Summoning - Witches can cast a spell to summon a god right to them.
