DEITIES Origins Deities here are from Greek mythology. The most powerful roaming the Earth are the Olympians, Nyx, and Hemera the latter two being the strongest. The rest are lesser gods aside from the Titans who are currently trapped in the underworld.
Abilities Enhanced Bodies - God's are physically stronger, faster, and more durable then any living species.
Immortality - God's do not age.
Teleportation - They can teleport anywhere they want in the world.
Telekinesis - The ability to move objects and individuals by using your mind.
Sleep Induction - The power to put mortals to sleep.
Shapeshifting - The ability to change the physical form or shape of the body.
Sensing - The ability to sense when other people are around and be able to sense what being they are.
Invisibility - The ability to become unseen by the naked eye.
Healing - The ability to heal injuries and diseases of others.
Siring - God's can sire other people as new Lesser Gods connected to them.
True Form - If a god shows their true form to a human that mortal will die instantly. Demigods however can look upon a god just fine.
Healing Factor - They heal in seconds from bodily injuries and toxins.
Other Powers - Each god has their own powers unique unto them.
Weaknesses Sensing - Demigods and other inhuman beings can feel when a god is around. Since God's radiate so much power it's hard to conceal from someone who is already sensitive to the supernatural. This doesn't mean they know this person is a god, but they will understand from what they feel that this person is of much higher status. Special humans who either have faith in the old ways or have a deep understanding of the supernatural will also be able to feel a god. The doppleganger also has this ability although she would not know this person is a god.
Magic Items - Powerful witches can create items that can have either positive or negative effects on a God.
Summoning - Witches can cast a spell to summon a god right to them.

Libera was originally born as Ariadne a mortal princess and sister to Layla Noelle. WHile her sister was off doing doppleganger stuff Ariadne was with their family as the mistress of the minotaur's Labyrinth. SHe first fell in love with Theseus who used her to get what he needed to kill the beast. The two ran away together, but he left her abandoned on the island of Naxos where Dio was currently residing.

Dionysus took her in and the two eventually fell in love and he turned her into a goddess to be with him forever. She was given the name Libera and became an equal to Dionysus in his authority as a god, not in power as she is a lesser god. Aside from becoming a goddess of wine and fertility she also became more associated with freedom. Her free spirit outlasted even that of Dionysus. Like other wives she did not rely on her husband for anything and never liked when he had to step in for her.

Ariadne was lost to Dio when she had saved his life. Perseus used Medusa's head to try and turn Dio to stone, but Ariadne blocked his eyesight and was caught in it herself. A group of demons angry with Dio stole her stone statue with Dionysus believing she had simply died. With rumors flying around of a still living wine goddess in a demons possession coming to his attention Dio has begun searching for the girl.

Libera embodies freedom in all it's aspects. As a wine goddess she's also very fond of the drink, something she inherited from being connected to Dionysus. She's not a bar or club hopper, she'd prefer to get drunk in the woods and swing on ropes into a random lake. She's a total outdoors girl and hates being cooped up for too long. When she wants something she's often aggressive and stubborn about it.

Demeter & Dionysus
So these two are both known as the two Earth dwelling Olympians. As such they've probably crossed paths more then once in their lives. In fact the romans linked her, Dio, and Libera (Ariadne)'s cults into something called the Aventine Triad. Anyways I'm sure these two would get along as long as she can handle his playful and free spirited/drunken nature.

 DIONYSUSDionysus is pretty easy to get along with as long as you're not annoying the crap out of him or trying to kill him. If you're doing any of these things he will try his best to avoid you, and if he can't he'll most likely try to kill you or break you until you get the point he doesn't want to be bothered. To his friends he's kind and will go out of his way to help you, but to his enemies he will go out of his way to avoid you or get rid of you. Whichever one is better, though he usually find's murder to be a waste of his time. He prefers to get his point across with less annoying means.
As a Liberator Dionysus uses what every person desires, but is taught to suppress. He believes it's pointless and even dangerous for anyone to suppress their base instincts. He helps people with that release they need. Not just sexual, but one of his powers is to grant someone freedom from the feeling of guilt for a time while they indulge themselves. He can also get rid of hangovers, gaining weight, and other things. He loves to mess around and play. He can be immature and cruel in this sense, but he never means to hurt anyone's feelings when he's joking. Only a year later Sophia's family were killed by Daemons, but she was saved by Hermes who put her with another family. From then on the God's have hidden her, but ever since the day of the fiery star people have been searching for the child. This is why she hates the Olympians so much, because of their crimes against her family. She transformed the girl into the first and most powerful Daemon. Under her command are the rest of the daemons and she has the power to turn souls in the underworld into daemons if they agree to it. Melinoe is cold and ruthless, in the past sixteen years she has laid waste to mortal villages looking for the Doppleganger. Her daemon armies are feared by the mortal world. Hemera is the opposite of her sister, warm, loving, and even stands by Zeus. The Earth is a daughter to her and she loves it with all her heart not seeing it as a string of lower beings to worship her. However she can become fierce and terrifying if she is provoked enough. Normal Rules - No bullying, abusive language, or flaming!
- Don't spam or advertise anywhere that isn't the advertising board!
- No chat speak in the forum. In the cbox I really don't care.
- Please post at least once a week! If you have to go away for a while let us know.
- Don't make a character then disappear.Roleplay Rules - No sues! No one is perfect we all have flaws.
- Godmodding is a big no no!
- Don't roleplay until your character is accepted.
- There is no word count. But remember to post at least three good paragraphs.
- Claims MUST be completed before any Roleplaying can be done. No exceptions. We are not going to add it for you if you forget.Character Rules - Only one Deity per member.
- Try to keep characters relevant to the plot. This means don't make a ton of daemons who hate the Titans. While yes that concept is a good one we want to keep the plot moving and have characters that do that.
- The roleplay is plot driven yes, but you are of course able to make any decisions for your own character as long as it fits their nature.
- The god's face claims are open, but remember we reserve the right to say no to a face claim. For instance, Selena Gomez or Taylor Swift would NOT make a good Hera.>>Tales of Sacrifice<<
